Somalia: Fist Fighting Once Again In Somali Parliament
Mogadishu — Fist fighting and tit for tat dispute among MPs hugely undermined on Monday, the opening of the Somali Transitional Federal Parliament at the public house in the capital, Mogadishu, reports said.
The meeting, which held today by certain of lawmakers opposing speaker Sharif Hassan was expected to hear addresses from the candidates of the leadership of the parliament, after a vote was taken earlier last month to oust Sharif Hassan as speaker.
According to reports at the meeting hall, MPs supporting to Sharif Hassan clashed with opposers and have continued their fight over the removal of the Speaker for hours
Some of Shabelle Media reporters and cameramen, who attended the session of the MPs as to cover reports on the ground said, many legislators supporting Sharif Hassan reached at the Hall, when the meeting was going to end and began fistfights and tore all documents written by MPs during the assembly despite AMISOM
